Armand has both endured and done a lot of terrible things as mentioned in the app, these include:

- slavery/CSA/prostitution
- cults
- controlling people through violence
- stalking
- long term manipulation/sometimes just straight up gaslighting
- controlling people 'for their own good'
- suppressing memories (with vampire powers)
- killing people for food + specifically a lot of psychological torment first (usually basically drawing out or implanting suicidal impulses before he eats them)

He has extreme issues about 'abandonment', so a lot of these come out most strongly around someone he cares about deeply. His two modes tends to be either 'detached' or 'obsessed'.

I definitely understanding not wanting to deal with any of it, or just not wanting to deal with the character at all!
