[He does... well not 'better' with threats, but they are pretty normal. Few people are spiteful without reason, but he's found people can find reasons easily when they want to.]

[He stands to go fetch a book - well, multiple books because his speed reading tends to be automatic so they work out to basically one. He grabs a few more biographies, a book on electromagnetic radiation and a collection of Aristophanes plays in the original Greek.]

We can have it at my cabin too. We'll see about the entertainment system.

Honestly, he could completely ignore her presence even if he didn't have something else to do. He's pretty good at just staring at a wall without having to take in any of his surroundings. But books are more entertaining.]
