[Gojyo prepares himself for a long hour, but this is an attempt to cheer Armand up, so he won't complain. Even makes an attempt at following the, er, plot of the movie, while leaning lightly against Armand.

Gojyo winces slightly when the puppy is kicked, when the child is shot, when the woman is slapped (for accidentally spilling a drink, what the fuck!), and at a certain moment he can't help but burst out: "Oh come on, don't eat her toes as well!"]

[The movie does work to cheer Armand up. He has a passion for film making that generally puts 'plot' as the least important part, and while not as... inventive as some of the films he likes, the surrealism works for him.

And he finds the movie amusing. What can he say? The hypocrisy works for him.]

To think, I think could've simply lain together the tension would have been unwound.

[Gojyo doesn't love bringing down the mood again now that Armand seems to have cheered up, but well.]

I know this place can be upsetting, and when people are upset they usually just do shit in the moment, but if... if you ever find yourself hungry, or... or just like you wanna hit someone to get some steam off, well.

You've got your communicator. [Translation: "you can call me".]

[Armand looks up at him with dark eyes. The flecks of orange only visible close up. It's sweet of Gojyo to make the offer. Not the offer itself - not that that isn't nice - but to put it into words.]

I do.

[He keeps it at that rather than 'thank you', so he can give Gojyo the grace of leaving it untranslated.]

Though I rarely find a desire to hit someone. [He's told bigger lies with as much honesty, but it's still rather impressive.]

Yes, well. ["Hit someone" in this instance substitutes "drink someone dry", because Gojyo does draw the line at volunteering to be murdered.]

[Speaking of which -] Didn't the movie show how the erotic suppressed can boil up as violence? [He teasing him a little.]

[Gojyo snorts, and puts his free hand on his chest in mock-outrage.]

[And by now, Gojyo's gotten over himself enough that he's leaning in to kiss Armand. ]

[Armand rests his forehead against Gojyo's a moment.]

I also think of the use of imagery from silent films of that time.

[He kisses him again.]

Culture is important.

[Luckily for Goyjo, he prefers kissing to a detailed break down of the movie.

He pulls back slightly, though stays close after the kiss.]

[Oh. We're not... continuing the kissing? Okay. Gojyo looks a little taken aback, but once again he doesn't complain.]

Uh-- Yeah, pretty much. Got in a bit of an argument with Hakkai and his husband, but-- [he shrughs] it's mostly cool now.

What did you argue over? [Armand has always shown himself as uninterested in gossip for gossip’s sake, so the question is about Goyjo’s feelings.]

Eh, it's just... we don't get along, and Hakkai tried to get us to get along, and... yeah.

It's nothing more juicy than that.

I didn't think it would be. [He presses a hand against Gojyo's cheek.] I can still wish for it to be easier for you.

[He's been there. ...If you use a very broad definition of 'been there'.

He kisses Gojyo again, because what better way is there to deal with... everything, really?]

Gojyo kisses back enthusiastically, burying his fingers in Armand's hair. At least he's getting a lot more confident about this.]

[Armand approves of Gojyo's confidence.

He enjoys it just on its own, and because it can be slightly soothing to the raw nerves still sensitive from the end of his last relationship. And whether or not that's a good thing in general, at it does mean that he likes being nice to Gojyo.

It's better than the alternative!]

Do you want to try something new? [he murmurs, when the pause a moment because Gojyo has to breath]

I doubt you have heard it phrased διαμηρισμός.

[Somehow, he doesn't think Gojyo grew up in the same sort of household that he did. From what he's observed of Gojyo, he's not sure that it's a different as it might seem on the surface.

Everyone has a history.]
